Timothy “Tim Smooth” Smoot Sr. a well known music artist departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero,LA. Timothy was the beloved husband of Shelly Anweiler Smoot, son of the late Missionary Giendoria Smoot Josephs and Clarence Smoot, Jr. Devoted father of Courtney (Coco) and Timothy (Pimp). Loving brother of Deidra (Kenneth, Sr.), Hall, Cassandra (Tracey), Haydel, Toni (Bryson) Smith, Tanya Josephs, Roslyn, Nicole and Cory (Ilene) Smoot and the late Leonard Jr. and Larry Varisl, Clarence and Camille Smoot. Son in law of Elmer and Marguerite Anweiler. Survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also employees of Big Boy Records, Rap A Lot Reccords, Yo Records, Major More Entertainment, along with the employees of Limo Livery, West Jefferson Medical Center (8th floor Oncology Unit), Dr. Kessler, Dr. Pippen and staff are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Gretna United Methodist Church, 1309 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA at 11 AM.
