It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our gentle giant, who went peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the young age of 44.
Daughter of Eunice and Calvin Gambino. Life partner of Rachel Romano. Step-Mother of Zachary Harris. Daughter in law of Frank and Mary Ann Romano. Sister of Calvin Jr (Joy), Linda, Laurie, Cindi, Kitty (Dom Rando), AJ, Joy (Alan Landry), David(Angela), and Brad.
Sister in law of Scott Romano (Rikki Lynne). Godmother of Kristen Kraemer and Logan Gambino and aunt to countless nieces and nephews.
She was a wonderful daughter, loyal spouse, loving sister, devoted aunt and Godmother, stellar ball player, avid LSU fan, and outstanding human being.
In respect of her wishes, there will be a strictly private family viewing. Friends and extended family may join in the celebration of Mass Friday, June 12th, 11am at Visitation of Our Lady Church in Marrero. She will be laid to rest at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Gretna.
