Tommy Dewayne Bailey

Tommy Dewayne Bailey, age 58, was called upon by our Lord and Savior on May 5, 2011. He leaves behind in life and is survived by his companion Marcie Ribaud; his daughters, Rachel Bailey, Stephanie Thibodeaux and her husband Matthew, Shawn Moak and her husband Scott, Karen Williams and her husband Neal; Ms. Ribaud’s children, Jason and Melissa; his brothers, Richard Bailey, Sr. and his wife Jimmie, Jerry Bailey and his wife Leila, Barney Bailey and his wife Judy, Dale Bell and his wife Loretta, Buddy Bailey and his wife Pam; his sisters, Carolyn Bailey and her companion Gerald, Connie Campbell and her husband Jesse; 18 beloved grandchildren: Jazlyn, Mina, Elena, Alexis, Kevin, Raven, Austen, Callie, Bailey, Trae, Dylan, Layla, Samantha, William, Melanie, Hailey, Jordan and Victoria. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Fabiano Bailey, his grandson Louis Lovett Bailey, his father Louis Lovett Bailey and his mother Reba Lang. He will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and all those whose lives were touched by his generous heart and helping hands. He retired from the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office and worked with his friends at Gulf Coast Plumbing. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, May 9, 2011 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
