Dr. Tracy Lee Conrad

Dr. Tracy Lee Conrad, 49, devoted son, brother, partner and doctor lost his courageous struggle with cancer on October 24 surrounded by family and friends in his home. Dr. Tracy had a short but wonderful life full of love, learning, and laughter. He graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ft Worth, TX in 1994. He was accepted to Tulane Medical Center for residency and graduated in 1998, board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr Tracy was a loved member of the Tulane and Lakeside Hospitals providing exceptional and loving care to all. Dr. Conrad is survived by his father, Colonel Theodore J. Conrad (USAF, Ret), his mother Laura "Jeannie" Conrad, longtime partner Bruce Mears, brother Randy (Lisa) Conrad, sister Robin (Mickey) Crawford, sister Laurie (Michelle) Conrad, brother Andrew (Lindsy) Conrad, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be missed by so many including the multitude of patients fortunate enough to receive his care.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 6 PM until 10 PM. A Rosary will be said at 8 PM. The visitation will resume at St Andrew Church, 3101 Eton St., Algiers, LA on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 10 AM until 10:45 AM. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cancer Institute or charity of your choice.
