Tri Huu Nguyen

Tri Huu Nguyen, 32, passed away so sudden and unexpectedly on the morning of September 23, 2015. It was the first day of fall and now, the first day of his new journey after life.

He was born on May 30, 1983, to a loving family, and in his short time here, made many friends and left large impressions on those around him. We would like to remember him as what he was and still is to all of us. In his personal life, he was a great son, father, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend; in his professional life, he was a great Chef, who enjoyed his creations and embraced his job; and now, in his after life, he will remain a great inspiration to never take time for granted.

He had many aspirations and dreams, and was finally at a point in his life where he was starting to realize them. Although he did not get his chance here, we know he passed away dreaming of the goals he was going to achieve and most of all, he was finally happy again.

Tri leaves behind his only daughter, Emma Tran, who was the most important part of his life, his mother, Gam Nguyen, his father, Thanh Nguyen, many brothers and sisters and countless family members and friends.

There will be a family viewing at Mothe Funeral Home 7040 Lapalco Boulevard in Marrero on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 5pm to 6pm and a public viewing from 6pm to midnight. On Monday, September 28, 2015, a public viewing will be held from 7am to 11am, and at 11am, Mass will be held in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home with the procession to the cemetery to immediately follow.
