Tyler S. Blauvelt passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the age of 44. Beloved husband of 7 years to Todd N. Fletcher. Son of Raymond Blauvelt and the late Beverly Blauvelt. Brother of Scott Blauvelt (Wife Melissa), Kim Castille and Todd Blauvelt. Godfather of Shannon Castille. Uncle of Jeffery Castille, Justin Blauvelt, Rachel Francisco (Husband Wayne), Brittany Perrin (Husband Reed) and Stephanie Blauvelt. Great Uncle of Rhiannon Blauvelt, Logan Blauvelt and Keely Francisco. Beloved canine owner of Derbigny, Beignet, Marigney and the late Spike. Son in law of Margaret Fletcher and Carl Fletcher. Brother in law of Neal Fletcher and Tim Fletcher (Wife Gemma). Uncle of Jackson Fletcher. Tyler was a former resident of Massachusetts and presently residing in New Orleans. He was an employee of Fresenius Medical Care as a Dialysis Technician. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tyler’s memory to the American Kidney Foundation.
