Tyson J. "T. J." Dauzat

Tyson J. “T. J.” Dauzat passed away on September 9, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Barbara Lurline McCloskey Dauzat. Son of the late Tyson and Agnes Graham Dauzat. Brother of the late Donald “Skipper” Dauzat. Brother-in-law of Medric Barrilleaux, E. J. Orgeron, Hillery and Ed Moise and the late Sylvia Barrilleaux. Uncle of Julie, Becky, Christopher, Brianne, Tre, Marty and Judith. Cousin of Butsie, Betty and Lois. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
T. J. was the longtime co-owner, along with his dear friend Phil Pizzolato, of Westside Credit in Gretna. As a gifted athlete, he was skilled at basketball, golf and bowling. He was also an avid L.S.U. fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, corner Verret and Alix Streets in Algiers, LA on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
