Van Fisher Eubanks

It is with great sadness that our family informs you that Van passed on Friday, May 27th. He was 54 years old and just celebrated his 35th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn Nolan Eubanks, children Travis (Kiley), Ricky (Tiffany), Tray (Anna) and Jenna (Brian). Loving Papa to Kaden, Karsen, Travis, Jr., Talan, Mikka, Danielle, Lindsay, David, Zachary and Matthew, and his sister Jan Marie. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, he was preceded in death by his parents Ann and John Eubanks. After his family and how he loved his grandchildren, he loved hunting, fishing and making sausage with his uncle and great friend H.C. He worked at Conoco Phillips refinery for 35 years. He and Carolyn took many trips together and always enjoyed the new cities and events. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072 on Monday, May 30, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 11AM. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA 70056 after services. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association.
