Van Alvin Ricks passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the age of 54. Beloved husband of Paula Coleman Ricks. Father of Van Alvin Ricks, Jr. (Crystal) and Nicole Marie Ricks. Son of James Patrick Ricks and the late Yvonne Hoffman. Brother of Richard Ricks, Sharon Baldwin, Duane Ricks, Joey Hoffman, Kristy Johnson, Leonard Hoffman. Stepson of Joseph Hoffman. Grandfather of Trenton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Jefferson Parish for the past 41 years. Relatives, Friends of the Family, and co-workers of N.O.
