Vassilios George Sabanis

Vassilios Sabanis passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of the late Sandra Sabanis. Father of Niki Scafidel, Aliki and Kiki Sabanis. Father in law of Bennie Scafidel. Son of the late Vassiliki and George Sabanis. Brother of Marco, Micho, and Christo Sabanis, Sophia Zarganis, and Katina Papous. Grandfather of Kevin, Alexandra, Alexis, Niko, Tiffany, Mathew, Samuel, Lucas and Daniel. Great Grandfather of Ja'Layah, Alyssa, Gianni. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Theva, Greece and a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 45 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11am.
