Verda King Isbell, entered into eternal rest at the age of 87 on Monday, September 19, 2011. She was a native of Pulaski, TN and a resident of Algiers, Gretna, and Harvey LA for the past 60 years. Beloved wife of Osey (Issy) Isbell. Preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ethel King of Giles County, TN; Brothers, Houston King of Lincoln County, TN, Marvin King, Jr. of Hohenwall, TN; Sister, Rachel Wood of Pulaski, TN; Son, Roger Miles of Algiers, LA. Verda is survived by her husband Osey (Issy) Isbell; Son, Douglas Miles of Gonzales, LA; Daughter, Carla Ziegler of Atlanta, GA; and Stepson, Michael Isbell of Houston, TX. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 11AM until 1:30PM.
