Verlie O’Brien Caruso entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Lucien J. Caruso. Daughter of the late Edmond J. O’Brien and Lucille O’Brien. Mother of Daniel J. Caruso (Karen), Brian P. Caruso (Karla), Elizabeth C. Spong (Mason). Grandmother of Susan Caruso, Steven Caruso, Jimmy Marks (Melissa), Christine McGovern (Sean), Kaitlyn Spong, Mason Spong, Scott Caruso and Kelly Figueroa (Alfredo). Great Grandmother of George, Charles and Jane Marks and Sofia Figueroa. Sister of the late Edward J. “EJ” O’Brien. Also survived by her “second daughter” Lynne Harmon and other close relatives and friends. She was loved my many and will be missed by all who knew her. Verlie was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Mandeville, LA for the past 14 years. Private Graveside services will held Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11AM.
