Verlin LeBlanc Nielsen Trosclair

Verlin LeBlanc Nielsen Trosclair passed away on November 7, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Edward Nielsen and Nolan Thomas Trosclair. Mother of Leonard Lawrence Nielsen (Susan) and Marsha Kirksey (Johnny). Daughter of the late Jeanne Alonzo LeBlanc and Joisant LeBlanc. Sister of Eugene LeBlanc, Milton LeBlanc (Shirley), the late Alfred LeBlanc, Cleophas “Lucky” LeBlanc, Roy LeBlanc, and Robert LeBlanc (Jackie). Survived by 5 Grandchildren: Mark and Paul Nielsen; Melinda and Lawrence Kirksey; and Barbara Kirksey Alcon (Chip). Also survived by 3 Great-Grandchildren: Dominic, Kirksey and Krieger Alcon. She was the “pearl” of the LeBlanc family and cherished by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 9 am to 11 am with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated immediately thereafter in the Chapel. Interment will follow the mass at Mc Donough Cemetery, 520 Hancock Street, Gretna, LA.
