Verlyn Marie Dufrene Adams passed away on October 28, 2013 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of Roy Joseph Adams. Mother of Roylyn Adams Hebert (Kenneth), Kevin Joseph Adams (Sophia) and Alcide Batiste Adams (Rebekah). Grandmother of Kenneth (Katherine) and Kris Hebert (Brandy), Kevin James Adams (Mary) and Stephanie Adams Watkins (David), Hayden (Hadie) Adams and the late Amber Lynn LeJeune. Great-grandmother of Bryce, David, Karter, Gracey, Laila, Karson and Daniel. Sister of Irma Dufrene Mayeux, the late Oreanna Dufrene St. Pierre and Jules Henry Dufrene. Daughter of the late Cesla Guidroz Dufrene and Alcide Batiste Dufrene. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Abide Home Health and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
