Verna Marie Ledet Perrien quietly passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011. Daughter of the late Eves Ledet and Celina Barrios Ledet. Wife of the late Louis Perrien. Mother of Eileen Krush (Sam), Maeola “Mo” Rockwell (Richard), and the late Kenneth Perrien. Sister of the late Nelia Nepveaux, Nora Theriot, Louis Ledet, Clar Ledet, and Mildred Szczekocki. Grandmother of Kirk Perrien, Cristina Gambel, Marinda Tait, Brett Blakley, and Brooke Agers. Survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Age 97 years, a native of Larose, LA and resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also members of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Gretna, LA are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 1 PM.
