Veronica B. “Ronnie” Morris entered into eternal rest on her 59th, birthday, October 5, 2013. Beloved and loving wife of 33 years to John Morris, Jr. Daughter of Helen Gros Burregi and the late Victor Vincent Burregi, Sr. Loving and devoted mother of Nicholas Paul Morris and the late Nicole Marie Morris. Loving sister of Debbie B. Bennett and the late Victor V. Burregi, Jr. Godmother of Christy Douroux, Michael Clements, Jr., Ashley Clements and Steven Clements. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Great Aunt of Master Douroux. Veronica was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Marrero, LA. She was employed by Mothe Life Insurance Company as a Pre-need Sales Counselor for many years. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
