Vicky Wiley Raymer

Vicky Wiley Raymer passed away December 28, 2023, at Ochsner Medical Center, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana with her husband Daniel, daughter Gracelynn and siblings by her side. Vicky was born October 27, 1982, to the late Roy and Marion Rose Wiley in Marrero Louisiana. Vicky was a 2001 graduate from L.W. Higgins Senior High School. Vicky then moved to Slidell, Louisiana where she was employed with Walmart as a manager from 2006-2015.

 In 2016 Vicky married the love of her life Daniel Raymer. In 2018 Daniel and Vicky moved back to Marrero LA. In 2020 Daniel and Vicky were blessed to be able to adopt their daughter Gracelynn.

Vicky’s joy of life was to spend all the time she could with her husband, daughter, siblings and their dear friends Eric and Tamera Carlson of Missouri. Vicky loved baking, cooking and baking cakes, along with cuddling with Lucy and Stella, her teacup Chihuahuas.

Vickys’ other passion was her job; she was a second-grade teacher at Terry Town Academy where she loved her students dearly.

Vicky is survived by her husband of 8 years Daniel Raymer; daughter Gracelynn; brothers, Daniel Wiley of Louisiana, Albert Wiley wife Kris niece Kaley, nephews Payton and Aaron of Louisiana; Brother, David Wiley of Ohio, one sister Lisa Wiley of Louisiana, and one sister-in-law Cynthia Wiley of Louisiana, (wife of late James Wiley), niece Courtney Foret and husband Dylan of Louisiana; Sister-in law, Rebecca Raymer, niece Kendall and husband Christopher Cliburn, niece Hannah Condarco and husband Fabian, nephew Owen Fisher of Mississippi; Sister-in-law Jennifer Garrison, husband Shawn, nephew Ryan, wife Alexis, and nephew Tyler of Missouri.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Marion Rose (Bera) Wiley, and brothers, Patrick and James Wiley.

A Celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.
