Villeor Joseph “V.J.” Boudreaux, a native of Paincourtville, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Marguerite Navarre Boudreaux for 68 years. Loving father of Carol Lee Ceruti (Carroll), Melanie Ann Clement, Kenneth Charles Boudreaux (Cheryl) and Mark Stephen Boudreaux (Leah). Grandfather of
Michele C. Miller (Ross), Eric Boudreaux (Sandy) and Brandy B. Jenninskens (Gerrit), Brocke and Kaitlynn Clement. Great grandfather of Blaise, Paige, and Gaige Boudreaux, Ethan and Peyton Miller, Gerrit Jenninskens. Brother of Godfrey and Francis Boudreaux, the late Lillian Burton, Anna Cardon, Stella Hemenway, Therese Bourg, Paul, Jr., Freddie and Clarence Boudreaux. Son of the late Melanie Stella Aucoin and Paul Elie Boudreaux. Mr. Boudreaux was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was employed as a Machinist with Prager, Inc. for 39 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6th Street, Gretna, LA on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 1:30 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday from 9 AM until 1 PM. The family wishes to specially thank the CCU Staff of West Jeff. Medical Center, Canon Hospice, and the Gretna Police Dept. for their care and compassion.
