Vincent H. Nuzzo

Vincent H. Nuzzo, a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA, died Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Sylvia Donohue Nuzzo for 59 years. Loving father of Susan N. Matthews and Blake V. Nuzzo, Sr. Grandfather of Blake V. Nuzzo, Jr., Michelle W. Fulbright, Dylan Wyatt, Kayley Matthews, and Blake V. Nuzzo, Jr. Great grandfather of Kaleb Nuzzo. Brother of the late Bernadette N. Guarino. Son of the late Myrtle Hodgson Nuzzo and Victor F. Nuzzo. Mr. Nuzzo was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and a parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady Church, Marrero, LA. He was employed as a superintendant at Avondale Shipyard for 43 years. He was also a member of the Marrero Lions Club, Past District Governor’s Assoc. of Lions International, Knights of Babylon, N’awlins Winnies, the Bayou Retirees and Various Round Dance and Square Dance Clubs.
Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the above named organizations are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 1:30 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Wednesday from 9 AM until 1:30 PM.
