Virgie Marie Fos

Virgie Marie Fos passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Louis Fos, Sr. Mother of the late Sheila Bernard Matherne. Grandmother of Jason Bernard. Daughter of the late Rena and Wilfred Autin, Sr. Sister of the late Mary Richard, Inez Toups, Wilda Chaisson, Leonise Autin, Alex, Wilber, Wilton and Wilfred Autin. Virgie was a native of Raceland and a resident of Marrero, LA. Mrs. Fos was a West Jefferson Auxiliary volunteer for over 25 years. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Faye Guidry, Rosalie Lewis, Marion Brattion, Denie Blanchard and Wyhnoven Health Care Center for their wonderful care. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Hook and Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
