Virgie Bourg Goodwyne passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late John J. Goodwyne, Sr. Mother of John J. Goodwyne (Lynn) and James P. Goodwyne (Carolyn). Daughter of the late Phillip and Lillie Bourg. Sister of the late Dorothy Dugas, Leon, Leonce and Phillip J. Bourg. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way. A native of Napoleonville, LA and a resident of Labadieville, LA and Algiers, LA since 1926. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 1 PM. Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 AM until service time.
