Virgie Grentz Reems

Virgie Grentz Reems passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Simon J. Reems, Jr. Mother of Simon J. Reems, III, Frances R. Anderson (Paul), Cheryl R. Dodson (Heber), and Kathie R. Harrell (Frank). Daughter of the late Frances Baker Grentz and Joseph M. Grentz. Sister of the late Florette Pitre and the late Dorothy Taulli. She is survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Virgie was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, and retired from the Tulane University Bookstore. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11 AM. Parlors will be open from 9AM until funeral time. Interment following in Lafayette #1 Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
