Vivian Perkins Buras

Vivian Perkins Buras peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Richard A. Buras. Daughter of the late Phillip Perkins and Arma Strother Perkins. Beloved mother of Glenda B. Gieseler (Charles), Gina B. Madere, Larry G. Buras (Terri), Jodie B. DeGeorge (Anthony), Carla B. Newman (Allen) and the late Susan A. Buras. Sister of the late Melvin Perkins. Vivian is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was born in Lafayette, LA and was a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for the past 44 years. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Staff of Dr. J. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery, Buras, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
