Vivian Blanchard Matherne

Vivian B. Matherne, age 93 entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 4, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Harold Matherne, Sr. Daughter of the late George Blanchard and Angelle Rome Blanchard. Mother of Keith Matherne, Sr. (Dolores), Terry Timmons (former husband Frank) and the late Harold Matherne, Jr. Grandmother of Brian Matherne (Kristi), Kim Cucurullo (Joseph), Keith Matherne, Jr. (Fiance’ Nicole Simon), Christy Loustalot (Thomas) and Traci Timmons. Great Grandmother of Kaycie Cucurullo, Devin Cucurullo, Bryson Cucurullo, Maci Matherne, Rylie Matherne, Jasmine Simon, Madison Matherne, Lauren Matherne, Amelia Loustalot and the late Ava Isabelle Matherne. Sister of the late George Blanchard and Bertha Naquin. Vivian is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of Harvey. Relatives and friends, also employees of Jefferson Parish Drainage Department also Hospitality Enterprises are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, Maple Avenue, Harvey, LA on Friday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
