Wanda Russell Monfrey

Wanda Russell Monfrey peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of 51 years to Wayne Monfrey. Daughter of the late Eva Langford Russell and Morris Duane Russell. Cherished and devoted mother of Michele Monfrey Whitney (Neil) and Jeffery Wayne Monfrey (Kacy). Adoring grandmother of Madison Whitney Robert (Riley), Mason Monfrey (Angela), Austin Monfrey (Katelyn), Brayden Monfrey, Avery Edgar and Brody Monfrey. Great Grandmother of Liam Monfrey, Harper Monfrey, and Isla Monfrey. Loving sister of the late Morris Duane Russell. Wanda is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Wanda was born in Kilgore, Texas and was a resident of Marrero, LA.
