Warner Joseph “Black” Thibodeaux, born March 15, 1933 in Lafourche, LA died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Beloved Husband of Jeanette Blanchard Thibodeaux for 58 yrs. Loving Father of Barry Thibodeaux(Donna), Beth Guillotte(Gary), Jan Good(Errol), and Joy Dantin(Daniel).
Proud Grandfather of Tyler & Laken Thibodeaux, Breanne Guillotte Castille (Dusty), the late Garen Paul Guillotte, Blair Good(fiance Steven) and Blake Casler, USMC. Great Grandfather of Declan Paul Castille. Step-Grandfather of Danielle and Dustin Dantin. Son of the late Denis Thibodeaux and Corinne Fremin Thibodeaux. Brother of Dolores Autin, Marion Cortez, Marie Sevin(Norman), Ronald Thibodeaux, Michael Thibodeaux(Sydney), Laurie Ohmer, and the late Gerald Thibodeaux(Bobbie), Lenward (Tibby)Thibodeaux, Jacqueline Spera, and Connie Busby. Mr. Thibodeaux was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a retired partner in Prestige Marble. Prior to this partnership he worked at Continental Can Co. A native of Lafourche, LA and a resident of Marrero for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family also members of Alpha Phi Sorority, former Terrytown Grand Squares, and Piccadilly Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 3 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Saturday from 11 AM until 3 PM.
