Warren O. Lookhoff

PO1 Warren O. Lookhoff, U.S.N. (Ret) was born June 24, 1937 and went to be with his family in the sky on July 13, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alma Thornton and Henry James Lookhoff; son, Charles Richard Lookhoff; a sister, Linda and brothers, Jeffery and Mark. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Clara Jewel Coffey; son, Robert Warren Lookhoff; daughter, Susan D. Hill; brother, Michael and sister, Carol; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 20 years on nuclear submarines and destroyers; worked with the Merchant Marines for 2 years, was a member of Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, was a Federal Police Officer with the Naval Support Activity in New Orleans, worked security at Northrup-Grumman and graduated from Delgado College. He loved life, loved people and was a fair skies and following winds sailor. Relatives, friends and members of the Fleet Reserve Branch 162 and the American Legion are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, L.L.C., 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 1 PM to 3 PM.
