Wayne Cyr Giordano, a retired attorney, passed away on November 26, 2013 at the age of 71 years. Loving father of the late Troy Cyr Giordano. He is survived by his beloved grandsons, Montana Cyr Giordano and Mako Cyr Giordano; his daughter-in-law, Heather Peterson Giordano. Son of the late Earl Cyr Giordano and Irene Adams Giordano. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Wayne was known by many as a talented musician who played, among many instruments, the saxophone. He was a charter member of the Fr. Peter Boerding Knights of Columbus Council No. 6357 as well as a member of the Belle Chasse Lions Club and the Plaquemines Historical Society. Wayne was a longtime member of the Judge Perez Vol. Fire Department which later merged with the Lake Hermitage Vol. Fire Department. In addition to being an avid motorcyclist, he loved to hunt and fish and was a staunch animal advocate and supporter of P.A.W.S. and the S.P.C.A.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Belle Chasse on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
