Wayne Joseph Guillot, 75, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Wayne was born in New Orleans, LA on April 14, 1941. An Engineer and Draftsman, his career extended from Avondale Shipyard to Bollinger Shipyard, and finally with the Universal Services family as a USCG TBSIP Inspector. Wayne was an avid LSU Tiger baseball fan, Saints fan, enjoyed the casinos and was quite a gifted chipper onto the greens. He was a member of the Samaritan’s Social Club and Lifetime Member of Mark Twain Club of New Orleans.

Wayne was a devoted husband to Terry Palmisano Guillot. He was the cherished father to Angie Fenwick (Scott) and Sheila Anderson (Neil) and step-father of Joshua Guidry (Jamie) and Jonathan Guidry (Gabby). He was the proud grandfather of Tiffany, Justin, Alexa, Evan, Gage, Destinee, Mylee, Harper, and Breanne and great-granddaughter, Landrie.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Guillot and Rose Babin Guillot; and his sister, Gail Lobue (Authur). He is survived by his brother, Joey Guillot (Teresa) and his sister, Patricia Gouzien (Kate) along with a host of beloved brothers and sisters-in-law that he was honored to call family. Wayne has numerous nieces and nephews that share his passion for family and fun.
