Wendell Jude Barrois

Wendell Jude Barrois, Sr., a commercial fisherman, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011 aboard his boat, “The Gambler”. Beloved father of Stacy B. Hall, Wendell Jude Barrois, Jr., Sunni Barrois and Joshua Barrois. Son of the late George E. Barrois and Adele Smith Barrois. Brother of Jarrod, Kenneth, Godfrey and Karen Barrois. Grandfather of Madison and Morgan Hall, Brooklyne and Alisa Barrois, Seth Levasseur and Joshua M. Barrois. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was 70 years of age and was a resident of Buras, LA and a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 7 PM to 10 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday from 8 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Belle Chasse for 11 AM. Interment will be private.
