Wilbert Joseph Breaux

Wilbert Joseph Breaux, a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA for 60 years, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Laura Rotolo Breaux for 60 years. Loving father of Gwen Breaux Romano (Savero). Grandfather of Kelly Ziegel (Larry), Melanie Blackmon (Stephen), Corie Chatelain (Jeff), and Brittany Schutt (Philip). Also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Brother of Neva Breaux Baudoin and the late Angelina B. Legendre, Anna Mae B. Bourgeois, and Laris J. Breaux. Son of the late Estelle Blanchard Breaux and Alfred Breaux. Wilbert was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a retired Bus Operator after 39 years with Westside Transit. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 10 AM until 1:30 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA
