Wilfred Joseph Olinde, Jr. passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Debra F. Olinde for 47 years of total love, and devotion; soul mates for eternity. Father of Sherry Olinde Coulon (Archie, Jr.) and Natalie Olinde Parfait (Wade, Sr.). Son of the late Elizabeth Langlois Taylor and Wilfred Joseph Olinde, Sr. Brother of Lawrence Olinde (Olive) and the late Alton Olinde (Jackie). Grandfather of Brittany Vallee, Lexi Gonzales, Dawson Vallee, and Wade Parfait, Jr. Honorary son of Josephine Forrest. Special Uncle of Steven Tate. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a native of New Roads, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for the past 25 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Promise Land Church, ATRA, and Bayou Barriere Country Club are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11am. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6pm until 10pm and again on Friday morning from 8am until 11am. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery.
