Mr. Wilfred Theodore "Bill" Reeves Sr., 88, of Pensacola, died Sunday, April 26, 2015, in a local care center. Mr. Reeves was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in the Myrtle Grove area of Pensacola. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, and went on to retire from the U.S. Coast Guard with over 22 years of service an Engineman Chief Master E-9. After his military retirement he became a marine surveyor with his own company, Reeves Marine Surveying, retiring in Pensacola. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ethelyn Reeves, of Pensacola, Florida; his son, Wilfred T. Reeves Jr., of Gretna, Louisiana; and ten of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Beverly Daniel Reeves, of Pensacola; two sons, Daniel (Margaret) Reeves of Terrytown, Louisiana, and Edward Reeves, of Pensacola, Florida; one daughter, Dianne Pusateri, of Pace, Florida; seven grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Karen, Scott, Jeff, Edward Jr, Terrell Jr, and Erin; two sisters, Juanita Davis and Mary Lee Reeves, both of Pensacola, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015, at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Milton, with Father John Kovalchin officiating. A reception will follow in the St Francis room of the church. Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m., in the Westlawn South Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana, with Mothe Funeral Home directing. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, is in charge of local arrangements.
