William A. "Uncle Will" Moore Jr.

William A. “Uncle Will” Moore Jr. passed away on September 12, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of 55 years to Louise Silver Moore. Father of William A. “Billy” Moore III (wife Stephanie). Grandfather of Peyton, Caroline, Kaitlyn and Parker. Brother of Markham Moore, Linda Lamonte and the late Donald Moore. Son of the late William A. Moore Sr. and Dorothy Miller Moore. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
William retired from Avondale Shipyard after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1961, most recently with the Albert R. Koenig Council No. 6369 in Avondale, LA (St. Bonaventure Church). He was a hard-working family man who will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
