William Andrew Berthelot

William Andrew Berthelot, Sr. passed away peacefully with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, March 4, 2011. Loving husband of Jane Guidroz Berthelot. Loving father of Suzanne & Chris Miller, Michelle & Glen Bordelon and William Andrew Berthelot, Jr. Preceded in death by his father, Wilfred A. Berthelot, Jr. and mother, Mathilda Z. Berthelot. Brother of Mabel (Carlos) Hernandez. Grandfather of Jarad, Alyssa, Corinne, Bethany, William, III, Ashley, Maci and Hanna. He was a lifelong resident of Waggaman, LA and was a master shipbuilder at Northrop-Grumman for 45 years. A special thanks to Leo Ford, IV and the staff of Serenity Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. A Mass will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery in Waggaman. Directions, call 504-366-4343.
