William A. Bowman,, Jr.

William A. Bowman Jr. passed away on July 29, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Gladys Folse Bowman. Loving father and father-in-law of Joseph Mason Bowman, his wife, Louise and Gayle Bowman Guerin, her husband Kenneth. Grandfather of Kevin, Jessica and Justin. Great-grandfather of Chaselyn, Alyssa, Caidon, Mia, Taylor, Madison and Charlotte. Brother of Sam, Oscar and Jesse Bowman, the late Mason Bowman, Mary Hooter, Cecille Dufour, Lena Dufour, Luby Mae Lemoine and Eva Bunch. Son of the late William A. Bowman Sr. and Irene Lemoine Bowman. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later retired from Avondale Shipyard as a diesel mechanic.
