William "Billy" Huey

William "Billy" Michael Huey passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the age of 68 years. Beloved son of the late Winnie Galloway Huey and Harry Huey. Brother of Mary Constantine (Peter), Leslie Huey (Vera), James "Jimmy" Huey (Becky), Kenneth Huey (Tara), Daniel Huey and the late Harry "Ted" Huey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 2 tour U.S. Marine Vietnam Veteran. He was a long time resident of Algiers, LA and was also known as Bill Java/Cotton Candy, a trumpet player. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11am at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
