William J. "Billy Boy" Adams, Jr.

William J. “Billy Boy” Adams, Jr. passed away on August 22, 2014 at the age of 59 years. Beloved father of William J. Adams III (Courtney), James W. Adams, Kimberly A. Trahan (Brett) and Chelsea M. Adams. Step-father of Reese A. Allemore. Brother of Patricia A. Barrois (Chuck) and the late Cynthia Ann Adams. Son of the late Pearl Haase Adams and William J. Adams Sr. Grandfather of Haleigh, Michael, Brett Jr. and Allyson. Uncle of Angela D. Barrois and the late Steven Barrois. Also survived by his lifelong friend, Cynthia Lancaster along with many loving relatives and friends.
Billy Boy served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and later worked for several companies as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was also known for spoiling his grandkids. He was taken from us too young and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Highway 23 in Belle Chasse, LA on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
