William "Bill' Otto Kraus Iii

William “Bill” Otto Kraus III, age 67, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana born February 27, 1945, and a resident of Belle Chasse for the last 33 years. Son of the late William O. Kraus, Jr. and Edna Descant Kraus. Beloved husband for 33 years of Marcia Trembus Kraus. Loving father of William O. Kraus, IV and Jason E. Kraus. Father in law of Emily Brinkmeyer and Samantha Coates Kraus. Grandfather of Andrea Jane Kraus, Elinor Grae Kraus and Everleigh Violet Kraus. Brother of Mary Kraus Muller and Rosalie Kraus Bella. Brother in law of John R. Muller and Sam A. Bella, Jr., George J. Hrdina, and Margaret Trembus Hrdina. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a loving and dedicated husband and father. He recently retired from D.B. Services after being employed by Gulf/Oil Chevron for over 30 years. Bill was a member of the United States Air Force, stationed in Hawaii for 3 years. He was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Belle Chasse, serving as Fair Chairman for 2 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA from 7 PM until 9 PM. Visitation continues Friday, November 30, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 8968 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA at 9AM until the Funeral Mass is celebrated at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse LA.
