William Robert Laughlin Jr.

William Robert Laughlin, Jr. entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2023. Beloved husband of Betty Dupuis Laughlin. Father of Michael R. Laughlin (Delyndia), Pamela L. LeBlanc (Milton), Donald J. Laughlin (Valerie), and the late William R. Laughlin III and Joseph P. Laughlin. Grandfather of William R. Laughlin IV, Heather M. Laughlin, Brittany L. McKinnie (Ryan), Logan Laughlin, Kaitlyn Laughlin, Braydan LeBlanc, and Joshua LeBlanc. Great-grandfather of Colin Poche, Madison McKinnie, Jameson McKinnie, Harrison McKinnie, and Emerson McKinnie. Son of the late William Laughlin, Sr. and Catherine Christian Laughlin. Brother the late John Laughlin, Sr. (Ann).  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. William graduated from Behrman High School and attended Tulane University. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired as Vice President of Operations after 45 years with First National Bank of Commerce, now known as Chase Bank. He served at St. Anthony Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister and proudly received the Order of St. Louis Medal. He loved to spend time with his family and she will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11:30 AM. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until mass time. Interment McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
