William Earl "Billy" Lovering, Jr.

William E. “Billy” Lovering, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of the late Charlene Lovering. Devoted step-father of Jessica Diaz (Christopher and Sara) and Courtney Swible. Loving brother of Susan Lovering Oalmann (Earl). Son of the late William E. Lovering, Sr. and Rita Mae Guarisco Lovering. Grandson of the late Helen Lovering. Loving Uncle of Jenifer Fernandez (Wade), Scott Oalmann (Mandie) and Jeff Oalmann (Kristen). Billy is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. He worked as a Firefighter with the New Orleans Fire Department for 20 years. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 12 Noon until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
