William Larry Ziegel

William Larry Ziegel at age 60 entered into eternal rest to be with Christ our Lord on Friday, May 16, 2014. He was the beloved husband of 42 years to his wife, Judy M Ziegel. He was the father of Larry Ziegel (Kelly) and Jason Ziegel. He was the proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren Bailey Ziegel, Lauren Ziegel, Madalyn Ziegel, Austin Fields and Paige Mason. He is the son of the late Edgar Ziegel and he is survived by his mother Wilma Deshotel Ziegel and 7 brothers and sisters; Alice, Edgar, Mona, Janet, Edna, James, and Mrytle. He was born in Marrero and a resident of Waggaman for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local 37 for more than 30 years. He loved fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his sons and he was best dad his sons could ask for. He will be missed dearly by all of us. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 10AM until 1:30 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
