Wilton "Mac" McDaniel

Wilton “Mac” McDaniel entered into eternal rest on September 2, 2024. Beloved husband of Martha Conwill McDaniel for 44 years. Son of the late Riley S. McDaniel and Maude Bennett McDaniel. Brother of the late Juanita Langston, Wiley S. McDaniel (Alita), his twin Milton McDaniel (Norma), Clifford McDaniel (Susie), Eugene McDaniel (Ruth), Riley McDaniel (Barbara), Laura Whitehead, and Christine Seeley (George). Age 82 years, a native of Montpelier, LA and resident of Belle Chasse and Algiers, LA. Mac worked in Africa in the oil industry for ten years before coming back to Louisiana to start Bellemeade Shell Station. He then expanded to ten stations in the local area over the next 35 years. In his spare time he was an avid football and sports fan, and was an active longtime member of the Belle Chasse Lions Club and Belle Chasse United Methodist Church. 

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM. 

Visitation will resume Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Lee Funeral Home, Tupelo, MS from 10 AM until service time at 12 Noon.  Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
