Xenia Helmstetter

Xenia Helmstetter died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Ochsner Main Campus. She was the daughter of the late Nellie Lapeyrouse and Eugene Helmstetter. Xenia is survived by her loving partner Cindy Goudeau, step-father Morris Lapeyrouse, step-sister Denise Leonard Lapeyrouse, step-brother Keith Lapeyrouse, and a host of many cousins and friends. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Gathering Place Worship Center Church in Kenner, LA and a beautician at Figaro II Salon for the past 33 years. Xenia was a kind and loving person. She treasured her family and friends and was always ready to lend a hand. She never met a stranger and had the best smiles and hugs. She will be dearly missed. This is truly Heaven’s gain and Earth’s loss. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
