Yvonne Larmeu Becnel, age 84, on May 1, 2015, beloved wife of the late Hewitt Louis Becnel and loving mother of Debra Becnel, Steven Becnel (Cindi), Sandy Becnel Palmer (Randy), and Bonnie Becnel Parr (Eric). She was the proud grandmother of Randall Reinhardt, Elizabeth Reinhardt Delsa, David Reinhardt, Jonathan Reinhardt, Noelle Lopez, Lauren B. Frazier, Kristine Page, Alexandra Becnel, Stephanie Becnel, William Whittington, Ashley Whittington, Jonathan Prior, Erica P. Trout, Chelsea P. Ferguson, Kaitlyn Palmer and Nicholas Parr and great grandmother of 20. Daughter of the late Eva Marquez Larmeu and Lawrence Larmeu Sr. Sister of the late Lawrence Larmeu, Jr. (Patricia) and John Larmeu. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Belle Chasse for 47 years serving as Eucharist Minister, president of the Altar Society, and a member of the Fatima Rosary Group. She was a recipient of the St. Louis King of France medallion awarded by the archdiocese of New Orleans for exceptional merit for over 10 years of service to the Catholic Church. Visitation will take place on May 5, 2015 from 9am until 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA. with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Immediately following will be a private family interment at the Bayhi-Becnel Cemetery in LaReusitte, LA.
