Yvonne Uzee Galle

Yvonne Uzee Galle, 84 years old, a native of Raceland, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for over 60 years, departed peacefully on June 29, 2011 with her family at her side. Yvonne, the daughter of the late Levon and Stella Gervais Uzee, was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl L. Galle, Jr, her siblings, Mercy Melancon and Lloyd Uzee, and a grandson, Brian Galle. She is survived by her children, Earl L. “Rusty” Galle III (Gayle), David Galle (Karen), and Gregory Galle (Brenda). She is also survived by her sisters Rae Nell Ripp and Ruth Boggs, six grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Daniel, Andrew, Evan and Nicholas; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Allie, Christian and Aiden as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. The Galle family extends their gratitude to the staffs of Wynhoven Healthcare Center and Heart of Hospice who lovingly cared for their mother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 9 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
